It might look like 10 minutes, but time has flown. Day after day or even year after year we don’t even realize how much we change, do we? Well maybe some of us do, especially when we deliberately try to improve our traits. Now with a decade gap in between, it’s so much easier to point out what we were/ were not and what we are/are not.
Here is a humble, brief list of mine:
It’s not always that easy to keep up with our busy lives.
Work schedule. School or university schedule. Personal life schedule and so on. So many errands to run and sometimes it feels so little time, that we barely manage to breathe.
This post is not on how to schedule or what to schedule. Our lives are so dynamic that there is no way we can make a fitting guide to meet all our needs. What works fine for me today, won’t work tomorrow, the important thing is to have a few tips to make scheduling easier.
It looks kind of ironic, as the word “versatile” relates to fluidity, despite my state of being like a concrete brick these last days. As a matter of fact I haven’t been able to read, not to mention write. Feels like I have so many things to do and think about. Do you want to know what is it that I have done? Nothing, absolutely nothing. Except fighting my demons, and feeling like they have taken over. I have been finding excuses to fill my mind with other things, avoid thinking about my battles.
I had a job interview the other day, but that’s completely another story, maybe that’s something I can write about. It didn’t go that well, in my opinion, nevertheless it was damn funny, again according to me.
It can be from the people we surround ourselves with, from celebrities and their biographies, movies, song lyrics, and books.
So this what I am talking about today, my list of motivating books. You are probably thinking that I don’t read that much… considering the length of the list, haha. True, I should probably read more and I am looking forward to add more and more motivating titles to this humble list. To me this is “crème de la crème” so far. Oh, needless to say that you are absolutely free to share yours in the comments.
I have read a good share of blog posts, by other fellow bloggers, how they manage the blog space with their busy real life schedules. I have read lots of useful tips, how to make it work and at the same time avoid falling behind with the post sharing here in the blogosphere.
It’s been two months of blogging to me, and for sure I am no expert, I have still a lot more to learn, but I am sharing how I cope with blogging and how I am keeping the whole activity organized, according to my standards of course ;p. I confess, sometimes I find it hard to keep up and I have my slack off moments, but I manage to recover pretty quickly 🙂 (for now).
The title might sound a bit confusing, since we often read articles about:
Why people read? Why some of us love to read? Why should we read? What are the benefits of reading? And so on.
However I have never truly nor seriously explored the reasons why some people don’t read or don’t like to read.
I won’t list reasons such as lack of time, honestly that’s bulls*** . We all have very busy schedules, but some manage to find the time to read 50 pages/day and thinking of which, it’s not even that much to ask. So stop making up excuses, if you don’t like to, or don’t want to just say so, there is nothing wrong with it.
I have my moments as well, you know. But I get back from the hiatus, as I feel the urge to read again, as like my soul misses something essential to breathe and my mind feels poor and depleted.
Ok, then enough with me and straight to the point:
