So I happened to read one of my friends’ post on facebook which was about expectations. It really gave me something to think about and also the right trigger to write this post. So before getting started, first things first. That means: “How does something I am being asked to do, affect me?”, “What about my well-being?”. It might sound selfish, but honestly, between that and being “selfless” putting myself at risk, I prefer selfish or self-centered thousands of times.
True also that, lots of us are inclined to meet others’ expectations, exceed them without even getting where we are going or what we are doing to ourselves. Others might be parents, partners, bosses, colleagues, friends etc.
No easy thing to do. At some point, despite our education, academic pursuits, qualifications or professional background, we might have some teaching to do.
We are constantly talking about learning, eager to learn, learning process etc (myself included) and maybe little thinking do we do about the teaching process in the first place (or maybe it’s just me).
I have read a good share of blog posts, by other fellow bloggers, how they manage the blog space with their busy real life schedules. I have read lots of useful tips, how to make it work and at the same time avoid falling behind with the post sharing here in the blogosphere.
It’s been two months of blogging to me, and for sure I am no expert, I have still a lot more to learn, but I am sharing how I cope with blogging and how I am keeping the whole activity organized, according to my standards of course ;p. I confess, sometimes I find it hard to keep up and I have my slack off moments, but I manage to recover pretty quickly 🙂 (for now).
Lots of us like to shop… clothes…Where are my girls?? (I am not discriminating, boys no offense meant :D)
As for me, I love shopping, I don’t mind second-hand shops either. In fact, these are the places where you can find cute, original, authentic stuff in very good condition and for a very good price. I’d love a pair of SMC platform brogues! (I can’t afford them, the mere presence of the shoes, no matter how divine they look, is not going to pay my monthly bills :p )
That’s why we need strategy and some tips wouldn’t harm. So, first question:
